Life Lessons Learned the Hard Way
Good morning class. Today we are here to learn about jumping to conclusions. More importantly, ways to help you NOT jump to conclusions.
- Stay cool and calm. Be aware of your racing mind and rising temper.
- Consider all possibilities. Perception is not always reality.
- Internal negative thoughts are often times LIES we tell ourselves based off of past experiences. Realize these are LIES, and don't believe the hype.
- Ask questions, particularly for clarification, BEFORE you act and/or react.
- If you're not clear about the answers given, ask MORE questions.
- Realize and take responsibility for your own actions and reactions. The choices you make are just that...options presented for you to make decisions based off of facts.

Why, that's the most rediculous thing I've ever heard! It's all bunk!
Oh, sorry 'bout that previous comment. Just posted the first thing that came to mind.
Really, though... good post.
Very Funny Brian. I really liked this post. It is all so true. =)
If only it were that EASY! All we can do is keep trying... thanks for the perspective as always.
Tom Smykowski: It's a "Jump to Conclusions Mat"! You see, you have this mat, with different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO!
Michael Bolton: That is the worst idea I've ever heard!
Samir: Yes, this is horrible, this idea!
