I Desire You

My body cries elusive tears.
The rain whispers, as it extinguishes the yearning inside me.

I desire you.

Caught in this tangled web we weave,
I shudder to think of being despised.

I desire you.

Forgiven for wrong-doings in the past,
Yet I know karma will avenge me.

I desire you.

Troubled souls grieve at last,
For the road to ecstasy isn't as distant as we once believed.

I desire you.
